Are you familiar with the term buyer's remorse? Well, after this fix and the decisions I made, I have what can only be described as the opposite of buyer's remorse. I'm not sure what you'd call that exactly. Returner's remorse? Buyer's regret?
For this fix, I asked for summer tops with cute details and I also mentioned that layering items are always welcome because I'm always cold. My stylist (Awesome Ashley) came through again! You can tell she gives a lot of thought to what she selects. She always sends a nice blend of pieces that honor my requests while pushing me a little out of my comfort zone.
Check out What Is Stitch Fix for all the details on how you, too, can become completely addicted and obsessed with this service! I'm a believer. I don't always get a homerun box where I keep every single piece, but the process itself is truly so much fun, and the items that I do keep are making regular appearances in my wardrobe.
Read on for the breakdown of what I kept and what I have buyer's regret about.

This cardigan...I want to live in it. It's like being enveloped by a soft cloud. Seriously, it might be my new favorite Stitch Fix item. What I really love about this cardigan is the unique design of the drapey pockets. It's all about the details! It's not exactly a functional pocket I could keep anything important in, but that's not the point. It's just plain cute.
I don't really need to say this after I've compared it to a cloud, but it's super soft and cozy. And it's striped, so yeah. I was pretty much 'in' from the moment I laid eyes on it. The fit is perfect and it has a nice lightweight feel that will work for spring/summer/fall.
I'm wondering if it comes in other colors....because I want them all.

From the front, this is very much a plain grey sweatshirt. The sleeves are rolled up and I look ready to hit the gym and pump some iron. It makes me think of Rocky. Yo Adrian!
But from the back, oh my. This top is sheer and lovely and a beautiful soft shade of pink. Once again, all about the details!
I styled this top exactly as Ashley had suggetsed in her note with white denim, wedges, and a statement necklace and it looks ahhh-mazing! I wish I had a stylist on call every day to tell me what to wear.
I like that you can dress it up or go super casual as the style card suggests. This top is a workhorse!

Stunning coral color and more fun details! The little cutouts on the front are super cute. It was a little longer in the back and had a keyhole button at the neckline.
The biggest turn off about this top were the sleeves and the way they stuck out at the shoulder. I wish it was either sleeveless or they would lay flat.
It made my shoulders look wide and it reminded me of Judy Jetson's outfit minus the collar.
I liked this top, but I didn't love it, so it went in the no pile. However, a week or two later as I was struggling to find something to wear one day, I had a moment of returner's remorse. I kind of wish I had kept it and learned to embrace the sleeves. It's part of what makes this top special, right?

I've been on the hunt all summer for the perfect maxi dress. I've seen so many beautiful maxi dresses with fun prints from Stitch Fix. I had pinned the one below and I believe this is the same dress, but in a different pattern.
And now for the unique detail of this dress. Ba-bam! The back has a sexy little cutout. This dress would be perfect for a hot summer day and I loved the stripes (of course).
The deal breaker for me? The colors. The orange was fluorescent and I wasn't feeling it. Once again, a week or two later, I kind of wished I had kept this dress. I still haven't found the perfect maxi dress.

Last but not least, we have this top with fun details galore. It has a pintuck neckline, pom poms on the sleeves, cutouts at the waistline, and the back has a keyhole button. It's like the designer couldn't stop themselves and kept adding more details. The only thing missing is some fringe at the hemline.
The fit was a little off on me. The sleeves felt tight and it looked weird in the chest area. I also wasn't super comfortable with the see-through aspect in the midsection and I don't want to wear a cami underneath in the heat of summer.
VERDICT: Returned
I have ventured out shopping on my own many times this summer and haven't found any tops with the charm that the coral and navy tops from this fix have. Kudos to the team at Stitch Fix for offering such unique pieces!
