The second half of our trip took us to the lively college town of Fort Collins, CO, where we hung out with our good friends for a few days. My friend Jeff is an artist with a camera and he graciously agreed to be the photographer for my blog pics. I got to play model for the day in downtown Fort Collins and I even had two assistants (my daughter and their daughter who held all my stuff and showered me with compliments, the way good assistants should).
Now my dear readers, I have some disturbing news for you. I had six glorious fixes with my virtual BFF Ashley and suddenly, she's MIA. It's okay to gasp, cry, or shake your head in disbelief. I had new stylists for both fixes 7 and 8 and I'm not feeling a connection. I miss Ash. We had a good thing going.
If you are new to Stitch Fix or want more details on how it all works, check out What is Stitch Fix? I'm having so much fun with this service and even after 8 fixes I still anticipate getting that delivery like a kid waiting for Christmas morning.
If you want to pin anything from this fix, just click on the Pin It icon in the upper right corner and pin away!
So let's do this thang.
Sorry this review is hanger pics only. I didn't bother to shoot photos of me wearing these pieces because I was so eager to get them out of my hands and back to HQ!
Halter top #2! This was my favorite item from this fix. I wanted this top to work so badly. I must have tried it on a dozen times, just to make sure nothing about the fit had changed since the last time I tried it on.
VERDICT: Kept but sold
VERDICT: Returned (wish I had kept)
Gorgeous colors and pattern! The sleeves can be rolled up and secured with a button at the elbow. Pretty, but just not for me.
I'm disappointed I didn't have any clothing keepers from these two fixes. By the time fix #8 arrived, I was over needing or wanting clothes for Colorado and with summer drawing to a close, I didn't want to purchase anything I might only wear for a few more weeks. I've turned my focus to fall now, even though we are currently enduring a record breaking heat wave where I live. I can't wait to see what Stitch Fix offers for cooler weather and maybe, just maybe, I'll be reunited with Ashley.
